We are looking for you, a digital native, who is interested to use market capabilities to build the digital future of Ingka. To be successful in this role you can build trustful relationships with internal business owners as well as our Digital suppliers driving our Digital Journey. You have a deep insight in the digital technology market, what top performing peers are doing, and how to engage with partners to drive our business forward.

You have a strong business mind-set with an openness to change. It comes natural to you to both look for new possibilities and challenge existing ways of working. In addition to this, your experience has given you a very good understanding of the dynamics in big projects and driving business development on a global level with multiple stakeholders.

To be successful in this position, you have:
• Strong background and proven experience from working in a digital environment, preferably in a large-scale international organisation
• Experience in supplier- and partnership management
• Digital market insight, with interest in using digital innovation for business development
• Digital environment knowledge and interest in Digital Services
• Strong experience in the Digital Services area
• Good analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.



YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

In this role as Category Leader, you will be the primary commercial interface towards leading global suppliers. You will be responsible to get the best possible commercial setup based on Ingka group’s objectives. You will be responsible for negotiations and complex agreements, where you together with internal business owners drive assignments.

An important part of your role is to build trustful relationships with internal business owners and identify key people with whom you will develop the business. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of strategies and secure governance of strategic supplier relationships. Moreover, you will be part of our change journey, where we are transforming into a core business digital unit with ambitious goals.

In this role you will report to the Category Manager in the Services Category in Digital & Tech, and the role is in Malmö, Sweden.

Ingka Procurement is part of Ingka Group. We bring IKEA into the lives of the many people in more than 30 countries around the world. As IKEA grows, it will be increasingly important that we have a way of sourcing and supplying that is fit to grow with IKEA. Together with colleagues worldwide, we work to identify and understand all kinds of needs related to IKEA operations. Together with our suppliers, we meet those needs innovatively, cost-effectively and with sustainability built in from the start. We secure a high-performing supplier base that can contribute to and grow together with IKEA in the future. The category shall secure business objectives according to IKEA Strategy and Category Business Plan through establishing & developing supplier base which can meet the needs of our business and customer; contributing to optimizing our value chain that can make better service at lower total cost for the many people; delivering excellent results to meet goals. Our ambition is to develop meaningful and better procurement!
