You have:

• Ideally you have a university degree (Logistics, Economics, etc.) or 1-2 years’ experience in the area of expertise
• Experienced in supply chain, execution of field service and customer service
• Ideally, you have experience with complex route planning and processes for logistics fulfilment, including processes mapping, analysis and optimization, together with technical / operational support.
• Proven analytical and numeric skills and ability to identify required actions analysis to ensure correct planning and optimization.
• Experience in problem solving and improving ways of working - You are able to identify, mitigate and manage daily operational risks.
• Collaborative mind-set: good in building trustful relationships within the organization
• High organizational skills and ability to work in a structured way, together with being able to adapt easily - What you do not know today, you will learn if you have the right approach and can-do attitude.
• Excellent computer skills and high proficiency on Microsoft Office (Excel and/or Power BI).
• ​Knowing Romanian cities and highways (Bucharest or/and Timisoara) will be considered as an advantage.
• Confident and clear communication in English and Romanian, both written and verbal.

What you'll be doing day to day

About the job:

DMP (Delivery Management Platform) serves as a fundamental on last mile delivery solution. Through DMP system we aim at having control and continuous monitoring on all over last mile delivery service flows.

As a Transport Planner (SFO Specialist) you will actively take initiatives to support units and external transport service providers operations in relation to last mile deliveries. Responsible to execute administration and planning, follow up and enabling effective execution across assigned service areas.

About the assignment:

• Responsible for the setup, configuration, and daily operation of assigned solutions and Delivery Management Platform according to market needs.
• Responsible to perform daily route planning tasks for Last mile delivery services, securing an optimized and cost-efficient usage of available capacity.
• Responsible for a continuously fine-tuning of our route planning tool to ensure optimal performance with our various external transport service providers.
• Administrate and update fleet data as well as adjusting capacity parameters in our route planning tool.
• Responsible to analyze and continuously improve the efficiency in service execution and enable an excellent quality in the meeting with the customer, with the emphasis on Favor EV usage on Last Mile deliveries.
• Trouble shoot issues and conduct root cause analysis on problems occurring in the daily operation of the platform and last mile delivery planning and execution.
• Able to stay focused and think clearly when unexpected situations occur and take the needed corrective actions on various types of deviations to safeguard our last mile delivery precision and to meet our customer expectations.
• Build and maintain close cooperation with our Remote Customer meeting point (RCMP/ Call Center), our different transport service providers (TSP) and the outbound units, as all these stakeholders can have input or changes to specific customer deliveries.
• Contribute to the DMP learning offer to secure that all internal units including external transport service providers have the knowledge to perform their tasks.

We’re offering a full-time (40 hours) permanent contract based in Service Office, Bucharest or Timisoara, Romania. The position requires working in shifts.
