    You have strong experience with Hungarian tax regulations, especially in areas like CIT, VAT, TP, and other indirect taxes.
    You’re reliable, detail-oriented, and can handle complex topics with precision and confidence.
    You feel comfortable managing varied responsibilities and working across functions and with external partners.
    You enjoy sharing your knowledge, helping others understand the tax implications, and ensuring IKEA remains fully compliant.
    You speak and write fluently in both Hungarian and English.

    Your responsibilities

    As Tax Specialist HU, you’ll ensure IKEA meets all tax obligations in Hungary accurately, on time, and in line with local laws and internal frameworks.

    Your main focus areas will include:

    Corporate Income Tax: calculation and coordination of the process with External Advisors if needed
    VAT - preparing tax returns, Instrastat
    Transfer Pricing: applying rules correctly, issuing invoices, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
    Pillar 2 & CBCR: supporting global tax compliance and Safe Harbour calculations
    Treasury tasks: handling liquidity reviews, internal loans, and cash flow forecasting
    Other taxes: supporting areas like property tax, customs duties, excise, green and sugar taxes, vehicle and company car taxes, and retail (extra profit) tax.

    You’ll also provide tax guidance, support audits and projects, maintain the Tax Control Framework, and serve as the main point of contact for external advisors and the global tax team.
