    Now, we're looking for someone who shares that spirit to join us as our next Integrated Media & Marketing Communications Manager. (Temp position)

    Our Service Office in Helsingborg supports the stores in areas such as sales, store communication & interior design, logistics, restaurant, customer experience, marketing, IT, expansion, finance & administration, risk management, PR & information, and human resources.

    WHO YOU ARE

    You're an experienced marketing leader with a strong background in both marketing communication and media and an education in marketing.

    You know how to turn business goals and customer insights into marketing that engages customers and delivers results. You understand how to build a strong brand while driving commercial performance, and you're comfortable balancing long-term thinking with day-to-day execution.

    You've led teams, developed people and worked across a mix of media and communication channels. You're skilled at bringing different perspectives together, building strong relationships and creating clarity in a fast-moving environment.

    We believe you bring:

    • Several years of leadership experience within marketing, media or communications.
    • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
    • Strong knowledge of paid, owned and earned channels across both digital and traditional media.
    • Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
    • A good understanding of customer behavior in an omnichannel retail environment.
    • Experience using customer insights, data and KPI- and performance tracking to improve marketing results. Preferably also experience using econometric modelling.
    • Experience managing significant marketing and media budgets and making investment decisions that create impact.
    • Experience working with creative and media agencies, setting strategy and clear direction and getting the best out of external partners.
    • An understanding of marketing technology and AI developments in the field.
    • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    As Integrated Media & Marketing Communications Manager, you will lead a team of 7 media and marketing communication professionals and oversee one of Sweden's largest retail marketing and media budgets, reaching millions of customers every year.

    Together with your team, you'll be responsible for how IKEA shows up in the Swedish market across media, campaigns and marketing communication.

    You will:

    • Lead, coach and develop the Marketing Communication and Integrated Media team.
    • Be an active member of the Marketing Management Team, contributing to the overall marketing direction and priorities for IKEA Sweden.
    • Set the direction for IKEA Sweden's media and marketing communication activities.
    • Lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across channels, ensuring a consistent and customer-focused experience.
    • Work closely with commercial, customer experience and insights teams to identify opportunities and turn them into effective marketing activities.
    • Lead relationships with creative and media agencies and ensure high-quality work that delivers both brand and business results.
    • Use customer insights and performance data to evaluate results, improve campaigns and optimize investments.
    • Encourage new thinking, experimentation and continuous improvement to help IKEA stay relevant in a changing market.
    • Build strong partnerships across the business and create alignment around shared goals.

    We're looking for someone who can build on what works while having the courage and curiosity to try new approaches when needed. Someone who wants to develop people, raise the bar for marketing and help shape what's next for IKEA in Sweden.


    QUESTIONS AND SUPPORT

    The position is a full-time temporary parental leave cover.
    We are looking for someone who can start in November or beginning of December 2026 to ensure a smooth handover. The assignment runs until end of December 2027.

    Location: Helsingborg (Ödåkra). We work in a hybrid setup with at least three days per week in the office.
