    To succeed in the position as a People Services Junior Specialist, you must have minimum 1+ years of advanced HR Process/administration knowledge. You also have knowledge in HR related systems like SAP, Service Now and good computer skills especially Microsoft Office.

    Manage People Operations business activities in assigned People Services area (Systems CRs&Testing, P&CSystems Support, Reporting Services, SPOC) to enable excellent service delivery across all locations.

    You are also competent working alone on assigned tasks. You can express your own ideas and yet be fair to other groups. You can listen, thinks and acts independently. You are willing to take on responsibility and challenges and can be counted on when times are tough. You focus on daily tasks and follow established processes in detailed steps ensuring operational accuracy. You show patience and determination to explore problems in detail to find the route cause and resolve accurately.
    You can identify problems quickly and takes action to solve them. You can learn from solved problems, and setup steps or controls to avoid recurrence. You think “out of the box” and provides ideas for continuous improvement. You have a good communication and listening skill.

    A day in your life with us

    • Coordinate of the assigned business support activities ( f.e Change Requests, Data Maintenance, Testing, System Releases) for assigned Country in close collaboration with Digital People Domain and People Services team

    • Perform the assigned Business Support activities (relevant methodology as well as end-to-end P&C processes know-how ) to enable the operations to focus on an end-user support and delivery of efficient services within assigned country/area

    • Follow the service delivery supporting frameworks and escalate their misuse (Systems CR,Releasess&Testing, P&C Systems Support, Reporting Services, Data Maintenance, SPOC etc.)

    • Actively search for knowledge and initiate learning activities to cover knowledge gaps. Take the ownership for performance and deliverables of assigned activities in line with the GBO People Services goals

    • Participate in triage meetings (f.e. Issues resolution, changes implementation) where knowledge of assigned systems/activities contributes to a successful solution finding.

    • uploading mass data into HR systems under guidance and following established processes,
    • helping to maintain Organizational Management (OM) structures and support with standard and ad hoc reporting needs,
    • being as a first point of contact for basic questions related to HR systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, Timekeeping systems), escalating more complex issues as needed,

    Together as a team

    In the People Operations Support Team, together with other Junior Specialists, Specialists and Senior Specialists, you will process and maintain on time all incidents, requests, documents, and reports related to the P&C systems used by IKEA. You will also be the support to all the IKEA co-workers and business partners working in the P&C area. This includes answering their questions related to P&C Systems or solving their problems reported through the ticket system. You will be supported in your daily work by Team Leader whom you can consult in demanding situations. You can also count on your Buddy who will help you get to know IKEA’s culture and values and successfully get through the onboarding process.
