Who you are
We are looking for a competent, result driven leader to help us secure our future in IKEA Vantaa Food team. This position calls for a person comfortable leading a team and to grow the business in the future. Combining this with your knowledge of the IKEA Food product range and local market according to the customer needs and dreams in order to inspire them is the key to be successful in this role.

• You are service minded with experience of serving customers. Your passion for food makes you take pride in the service and product you serve.
• You have experience from and enjoy working in a vibrant retail environment. You are flexible and know how to execute action plans in a good way, you truly make things happen.
• The IKEA leadership approach inspires you and to lead by example is important to you.
• You have previous experience from restaurant industry as well as customer service
• Experience from managerial duties and leadership roles are seen as advantage
• You communicate fluently both in Finnish and in English (written and spoken)
Your responsibilities
We have two full-time available positions;

- for SFM/ Bistro (fixed-term 1.3.2025-31.5.2026),
- for customer restaurant kitchen (permanent).


You are leading either the team in Customer restaurant kitchen or Bisto & SFM (Swedish food market). These both teams are essential to keep our customers happy and provide a good shopping experience for every customer.


Your main tasks are:

• Keeping the customer in focus and taking action to optimise sales and inspire our customers.
• Ensuring your area of responsibility is commercial, clean, tidy, attractive and inviting. You also ensure our products are in perfect condition and correctly priced at all times.
• Being passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• Building the competence of the team through regular coaching, support and encouragement
• You contribute and support the implementation of the store Business Plan and IKEA Food action plan.
• Promoting a safety first culture, as well as coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.
• You are motivated to get the know-how also from other IKEA Food departments and all managers in IKEA Food act also as a function duty
