Who you are

You have previous experience in planning and scheduling shifts for a larger organization, are motivated by working in a structured manner, and thrive under tight deadlines.

Additionally, we emphasize that you:
- Have a good understanding of and experience with working in MS Excel and a general flair for IT systems
- Are familiar with one or more planning systems and applicable regulations within shift planning
- Work systematically with detailed and complex data
- Have the ability to work independently, plan your time, and prioritize your tasks
- Have strong communication skills in English
- Understand the importance of laws and regulations and ensure that they are complied with in all respects

A day in your life with us

People Planning is part of our People and Culture department. Primarily, you will spend your time planning and organizing shift schedules for predefined departments in the Store, collaborating with team leaders and managers to determine the specific department's needs and ensuring that we are always ready to serve our customers. You will be closely involved with the rest of the People and Culture team and support employee activities on daily basis and throughout the year.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the shift schedules comply with collective agreement rules, labor laws, our internal "people planning approach," and agreed budgets
- Planning and structuring your working hours so that schedules are delivered within deadlines
- Maintaining an ongoing dialogue with team leaders and managers in the planning and hiring process

Additional Information

• The position is for 30+ hours per week on a individual contract. 4 or 5 days per week – according to agreement.
• Working hours are between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Sunday. Evening work may be required as needed.
• Weekend work once a month.
• Salary based on qualifications and within IKEA's salary policy.

• The desired start date is July 1st, 2024, or by agreement.
