  • Step into a unique and exciting opportunity to lead IKEA’s food range in our home market. Be at the heart of IKEA Food, shaping what millions of people experience every day. This is your chance to take real ownership, make strategic impact, and define the future of IKEA Food in Sweden – in a role that is dynamic, challenging, and never the same from one day to the next!

In this role, you will be the hub for everything related to our food assortment – from planning to delivery.

    Who you are

To thrive in this role, you are self-driven and solution-oriented, able to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You take ownership of your work and are confident in making decisions, always with the bigger picture in mind.
You are a strong communicator who can speak up in challenging situations and build trust across teams. You enjoy collaborating with many different people, and you are not afraid to challenge the way things are done and explore new approaches.

You can balance short-term priorities with long-term initiatives, staying focused on delivering results today while shaping what comes next. You thrive in a dynamic environment and get energy from finding practical, creative solutions that make a difference.
To succeed in this role you need to have solid experience when it comes to food and supply. Which means you’ve worked with food and supply in a hands-on way – maybe in retail, logistics, or product development. You understand how food gets from idea to shelf, and you’ve led or supported teams to make that happen. You’re used to working with planning, availability, and making sure the right products are in the right place at the right time. Experience in food or retail industry is a big plus.

    About this work area

On a daily basis, you support stores to ensure to have the right articles to sell at the right time, staying close to operations through weekly dialogues and providing quick solutions to everything from range questions to delivery challenges.
Together with your colleagues, you take overall responsibility for product launches and campaigns. You work with forecasting and volumes, collaborate with IKEA of Sweden and our suppliers, and ensure that product availability meets demand.

Looking ahead, you plan for future initiatives – from next year’s Christmas range to upcoming assortment launches. You ensure that our ideas are practical and implementable through smart planning, system support, and continuous focus on improvements. The role constantly shifts between operational and strategic work. You handle immediate business needs while driving long-term development and participating in global projects.

You will also lead a team of business administrators, coaching and supporting them in their daily work. In this role you will report to Country Food Manager.

The most important priority of your work is to:

    • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Food Range & Supply team, ensuring alignment with IKEA values and business goals.

    • Monitor and identify market food range needs to develop a healthy, nutritious, and locally relevant assortment in line with IKEA’s range strategy.

    • Drive range management and supply performance, ensuring the right products are available at the right time through effective planning, coordination, and follow-up.

    • Contribute to the market business plan with insights and ideas, acting as an integrated commercial partner.

    • Actively collaborate across functions (e.g., Procurement, Digital, Fulfilment, Sustainability) to secure integration and maximize business impact.
