  • IKEA Gateshead are looking to welcome a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to join their nightshift team. Are you a proactive leader who thrives in a fast‑paced warehouse environment and loves bringing out the best in others? We’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on team player to help drive efficient fulfilment operations and ensure our customers always have the products they need, when they need them.     WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be discussed during interview.
    • Starting salary of £31,000 per annum based on competence and experience.
    • 39 Hours working 5 days per week available 21:00pm - 10:00am including two alternate weekends per month.
    • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Experience of leadership in a busy warehouse environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others' workload is preferred.
    • Results-driven approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals with the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
    • Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co-workers and customers.
    • Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility, with problem-solving experience and proficient computer literacy.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Ensure efficient daily Fulfilment Operations for maximum stock availability and readiness.
    • Responsible for coaching, developing and inspiring a motivated team, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
    • Work with the team to reach business goals, review workloads to ensure daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands, all while keeping costs low.
