    • IKEA Gateshead are looking to welcome a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to join their nightshift team. Are you a proactive leader who thrives in a fast‑paced warehouse environment and loves bringing out the best in others? We’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on team player to help drive efficient fulfilment operations and ensure our customers always have the products they need, when they need them. If you enjoy solving problems, making quick decisions, and creating a positive, inclusive workplace where people feel supported and inspired, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact while growing your career.


    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be discussed during interview.
    • Starting salary of £31,000 per annum based on competence and experience.
    • 39 Hours working 5 days per week available 21:00pm - 10:00am including two alternate weekends per month.
    • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Experience of leadership in a busy warehouse environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others' workload is preferred.
    • Results-driven approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals with the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
    • Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co-workers and customers.
    • Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility, with problem-solving experience and proficient computer literacy.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Ensure efficient daily Fulfilment Operations for maximum stock availability and readiness.
    • Responsible for coaching, developing and inspiring a motivated team, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
    • Work with the team to reach business goals, review workloads to ensure daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands, all while keeping costs low.
