Here we help shape IKEA's future by providing meaningful insights to business stakeholders in Group Procurement organizations and support IKEA’s journey to become a true omnichannel retailer. We are looking for you who can help us building the BI reports, dashboards and build self-service analytical solutions to our users. Due to the nature of data involved in making those decisions, there is a need for you to take informed decisions and lead this development from the front. You should be able to smartly build high performing analytical solutions which consumes large volumes of data.

Your skills include:
• Minimum 12 years of experience as engineer developing metrics, identifying trends, designing dashboards and technical depth and width in the Business Intelligence reporting such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, etc., creating data-rich dashboards, implementing Row-level Security (RLS) in Power BI, writing DAX expressions, developing custom BI products with scripting and programming languages such as R, Python along with cloud analytics domain.
• Wide knowledge over business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, modeling, database, and technical aspects to deliver data-driven solutions for BI tools.
• Proven ability to design and architect complex data integrations between SAP Ariba, GCP Big Query and other SAP modules.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the development and administration at least one of the following areas:
▪ Back-end data integration and architecture including dimensional data modeling, database design, data warehousing, ETL development, and performance tuning.
▪ Front-end reporting and analytics platforms including OLAP cube design, tabular data modeling, Performance Point, Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI Report and Dashboard development.
• Ability to review design documents, critique architecture recommendations from other SMEs.
• Clear, concise business communication and experience conducting business requirements workshops with end users.

Your responsibilities

Accountable for the technical delivery within our digital organization. Responsible for the management of technical operations on Power BI/GCP module and providing technical support and leadership. Including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and
directing enhancements, and implementing solutions to support the different business requirements.
You will:
▪ This is a senior subject matter expert (SME) role in Business Intelligence warehouse and Cloud analytics domain (GCP) as part of the Procurement BI.
▪ Your main responsibility is to identify how to resolve needs from the business in Procurement and collaborate with various stakeholders in the Ingka business regions and Ingka supplier ecosystem.
▪ Your responsibilities include facilitating, guiding our strategic supplier(s) in their maintenance, development and administration as well as undertake development in the data warehouse environment in line with the approved development plans, change requests and the operational service levels.
▪ The Cloud Analytics senior system engineer and SME will proactively identify where existing systems can be enhanced and the data reporting environment improved.
▪ You mix your theoretical knowledge, experience with a doer’s attitude, and your hands-on problem-solving skills are of great use when you come across challenges in your everyday work.
▪ You probably describe yourself as structured, open-minded and curious.
▪ Being a socially skilled team player, you also collaborate with colleagues, network with stakeholders and continuously share information to make sure we deliver results and reach our goals.
