    • What you'll need to have

    (Morning & Afternoon Shifts)

    • Enjoys fast-paced distribution environments
    • Comfortable with standing, lifting upto 50 lbs, and walking for long periods
    • Warehouse/logistics experience is a plus
    • Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus
    • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
    • People-person, good at building rapport
    • Results-driven
    • Team player, but can work solo
    • 18 years or older (IKEA safety requirement)
    • Committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace

    A day in your life with us

    • Handle shipping, picking, receiving, and storage using Order picker/Forklift and other Warehouse equipments.
    • Unload and manage inbound/outbound merchandise
    • Secure merchandise for safe movement
    • Verify received articles against paperwork
    • Document and remove damaged merchandise
    • Store/stage pallets in assigned locations
    • Maintain safety and security in work areas
    • Promote IKEA culture and embrace diversity
    • Contribute to a positive community and environmental impact.

As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs.     Please be advised that this position is located at the IKEA CDC Richmond Warehouse (7031 York Rd, Richmond, BC V6W 0B6), not at the IKEA Richmond Store. The two locations are approximately 10 kilometers apart.

    Please note that public transportation to the CDC Richmond Warehouse is limited. There is no public transit service at all on Sundays & Saturdays.

    In the IKEA world, this position is officially referred to as Fulfilment Operations Co-worker
    The starting rate/ salary for this position is 21.4 CAD
