    Additional Information:
    • This role is permanent full-time, 76hrs/ fortnight .
    • The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Team Leader
    • This role requires availability to work Monday to Sunday shifts between the hours of 6pm and 5am (Overnight)
    • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.
    • Previous forklift driving experience and a valid forklift license (LF) will be highly regarded

    About this work area

    As Fulfilment Operations Team Leader, your responsibilities include:
    • Supporting operations at IKEA (Innaloo) by managing daily operations, including container receivals, unloads, internal site replenishment, and external replenishment for the store.
    • Managing daily activities, rostering, breaks, and achieving KPIs for the Fulfilment Operations team.
    • Ensuring efficient warehouse systems for stock allocation, inventory control, and conducting investigations related to inventory discrepancies.
    • Leading recruitment, retention, and development of team talents to ensure a high-performing, diverse team.
    • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct and local regulations.
    • Continuously improving daily operations to enhance customer shopping experience through product quality, merchandising, and stock accuracy.
    • Promoting quality awareness, implementing local business plans/projects, and analysing workload to achieve operational excellence.
    • Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, while overseeing day-to-day managerial responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient fulfilment operations.

    • Have a track record of successfully leading operational teams, driving performance, and developing people to reach their full potential.
    • Are motivated by delivering outstanding customer experiences and operational excellence.
    • Possess strong computer literacy and are confident working with Microsoft Office and operational systems.
    • Communicate with impact, building trust and collaboration with co-workers, leaders, and key stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate resilience and sound judgement, remaining calm and solutions-focused in challenging situations.
    • Effectively navigate strategic, tactical, and day-to-day operational responsibilities within a dynamic environment.
