    About the job

    As a Comm & In Specialist, you contribute to positioning IKEA Small Store as the leader in Life at Home in the local market. You achieve this by demonstrating how people’s everyday life at home can be improved through relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions. You secure the visual uniqueness of the IKEA range and create inspiring shopping experiences that strengthen the IKEA brand and drive business growth.

    Your assignment

    • Contribute to positioning IKEA Small Store as the first choice for home furnishing in the local market.
    • Provide inspiring and commercial home furnishing solutions that improve people's life at home.
    • Demonstrate the uniqueness of the IKEA range through strong visual merchandising and display techniques.
    • Secure the use of layout as a commercial tool to create strong visual impact and an easy buying process.
    • Develop shop layouts that support commercial priorities and customer convenience.
    • Stimulate interest in home furnishing by presenting new and inspiring solutions.
    • Act as a change sponsor by creating direction and coaching co-workers through change.
    • Secure a seamless home furnishing experience across all customer touchpoints.
    • Translate Life at Home insights into locally relevant range presentations.
    • Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency and cost consciousness in all implementations.
    • Delivery of commercial and inspiring range presentation solutions.
    • Execution of agreed layout and visual merchandising plans.
    • Securing the IKEA brand identity and visual uniqueness in the Small Store.
    • Maintaining high standards of commerciality, inspiration and customer experience.
    • Ensuring all solutions align with national directions and business priorities.
    • Contribute to the CMP Action Plan and long-term profitability.
    • Support the gathering and application of Life at Home insights.
    • Collaborate with MFCs and cross-functional teams to deliver business goals.
    • Share best practices and proven solutions across the market.
    • Contribute to solution matrices that reflect local needs, styles and price points.
