Hello! I'm Pia Wigren, the Financial Controlling Manager. We're excited to welcome a new team member for a temporary assignment in our Financial Controlling team. You are organized and take pride in maintaining accuracy. You understand profit and loss, balance sheets, and have solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting rules. Experience in Retail or Customer Fulfillment is a plus, but not a must. Understanding retail operations, key drivers, and business performance metrics is beneficial.
To be successful in this role, you should have a background in accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent working experience. You bring years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, or a related finance field, with hands-on experience in monthly closings, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong relationship-building and communication skills are crucial. You enjoy working, collaborating, and co-creating in a dynamic, multi-dimensional, and multicultural environment.

Your responsibilities
As a Financial Controller you will drive, lead, steer and support overall Ingka financial reporting that is beneficial to people & planet and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence.
You will provide accounting & reporting services, with a strong compliance framework and effective governance, in order to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers and businesses.
More specifically, this means that your main responsibilities will be:
Establish and maintain financial structures to track costs and performance. Collaborate closely with different stakeholders both local and centralized Accounting & Reporting Operations. Guarantee high-quality and be the owner of the monthly closing as well as year-end reporting. You will review and challenge reported actuals and make the first level of commentary.
Collaborate closely with Business Navigation and Business Analyst to gain insight into costs, performance and be support in forecasting in budgeting. Finally you will also conduct various analysis and support the organization with insight in financial performance and financial planning.
Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group.
The location for the CFO team is in Service-Office in Helsingborg and in this role, you will report to the Retail Financial Controlling Manager.

Our purpose is to enable business transformation and secure Ingka Group long term profitable growth and independence through financial steering and decision support, operational excellence and compliance.
The CFO team is supporting 21 IKEA stores, 10 smaller Customer meeting points, 3 Remote Customer Meeting Points as well as the regional Central fulfilment units. For us it is important to be a trustworthy business partner who supports and challenges the organization in making good business decisions and drive total business performance. We are a diverse team with experience from different areas of the business and we learn from each other every day. And....we have fun!
