Aside the Retail investments, until now we have one Investments portfolio in Poland: Renewable Energy.

As a Renewable Energy Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
• Grow Ingka’s Investments’ activity of electricity supply in Poland, to our stores, meeting places, distribution centre and supply chain partners.
• Set up a strategy, close deals, manage the portfolio.
• Combine professional skills and knowledge of Ingka Group to manage Ingka Investments’ activity of electricity supply to IKEA Supply Chain in Poland, together with relevant local and global stakeholders.

Here is what we expect you to do….

• Develop and implement Ingka Investments’ energy sales and supply strategy in Poland : - electricity (the energy itself) - regulated certificates schemes (subsidy component) - renewable energy attributes (proof of carbon free production).
• Sell Ingka’s renewable electricity production internally according to the self-use principle and externally to IKEA Suppliers, combining professional skills and knowledge of Ingka ways of working.
• Be the subject matter expert on the country specific energy markets for the Ingka Group.
• Accurately and effectively assess the energy market and contribute to the optimization of energy sales.
• Identify appropriate benchmarks which allow to assess and adapt the sales tactics under changing conditions of the energy markets.
• Lead, coach and develop others to strongly contribute to reach financial sales goals.
• Lead and develop the function in respect of both people and competences; identify and develop talents and ensure succession planning.
• Create and maintain links with key trading and regulatory partners, consumers, and external consultants.
• Support growth of the Renewable Energy Investment portfolio and support other Ingka Investments area/activities when necessary.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

…. with the knowledge, experience and capabilities, we expect you to have…

• Excellent knowledge of energy markets and the drivers behind energy pricing dynamics.
• Excellent knowledge of the processes needed to supply electricity to wholesale markets and end consumers: offer creation, negotiation, electricity purchase distribution and delivery, data management, financial processes, regulatory compliance.
• General knowledge of the renewable energy production industry, in particular wind and solar .
• Extensive knowledge about energy procurement, tendering procedures.
• Extensive Knowledge about management of Certificates and Guarantee of Origin in.
• Extensive knowledge in electricity and financial IT tools.
• Extensive knowledge in electricity economics and finance.
• Extensive knowledge in setting budgets, implementing action plans and following up goals.
• Fluency in Polish and English ( written and spoken).

So, if you recognize yourself in the above description and if you have a senior profile of 5 years+ experience of direct management of electricity sales, preferably wind or solar, proven track record in complex energy, green certificate and guarantee of origin transactions, taking lead responsibility in a multinational company, proven track record of using information systems to manage energy sales from end to end i.e. sales, operations, reporting and billing, 3 years+ in a leading position, if you have hands-on and pro-active approach and drive to get the job done, we are curious to meet you.
