    Job description
    • To maintain, service, repair and ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, Architectural, LPG gas system and Building are in good working condition at all times.
    • To perform regular checking of the facility and taking corrective action(s) where required.
    • To provide a safe, clean and functional environment as well as providing a comprehensive maintenance service to the building equipment and machines.
    • To monitor external contractor and ensure services are carried out accordingly to the scope of work stipulated in the contract.
    • To contribute to the planning, implementation and monitor preventive measures for all building, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
    • Carrying out works in public areas of the building in such way as to minimize disruption, risk and inconvenience to tenants, shoppers and others.
    • To perform regular checking of the facility, comply with Urbanise System requirement, all ELV system, UPS System, Fire Protection System, Fibre Optic System, ACMV system in the good condition
    • To take daily / weekly / monthly utility (Electricity and Water) meter reading for all the tenants.
    • To maintain operating logs on all equipment; record, correct, and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences
    • To attend and assist regulatory inspection .
    • To assist safety and security officer when need arise for maintaining safety equipment e.g. fire Protection system, Fire Door, CCTV, PA System, Intrusion Alarm System.
    • To suport safety and security officer in maintaining safety equipment in the building according to the SecCheck manual.
    • To perform other ad-hoc task as assigned by the Manager.

    Qualification
    • Possess at least a Professional Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, PW4 or equivalent;
    • 3 - 5 years’ working experience in facilities management/ maintenance management/building operations maintenance.
    • Hands on knowledge in handling all technical aspects of building and facilities (air-conditioning system, chiller, cooling tower, fire alarm system, boom gates and ticketing system among others)
    • Possess knowledge to troubleshoot ACMV/ELV system is added advantage
    • Well versed in all laws governing the building management
    • Good team player and ability to work well with others.
    • Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English and able to prepare simple report on work completed.
    • Experienced in Shopping Centre operations
