  • Join us as Ingka Centres Finance Manager (UK)

    Join Ingka Centres as a Finance Manager and help us create meeting places where people love to go. You’ll lead accounting and reporting services, ensure compliance, and provide financial insights that enable profitable growth and transformation.


    WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

    Education & Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
    • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or local equivalent) with strong IFRS and GAAP knowledge.

    Experience:

    • 8–12 years of progressive accounting/auditing experience in similar or larger organisations.
    • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role, with experience leading a team.
    • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
    • Skilled in automated accounting systems and proficient in MS Office.
    • Comfortable working in agile structures and cross-functional teams with experience in multicultural and multinational environments.
    • Demonstrated capability in change management, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels, in multi-national organisations.
    • Comfortable working in agile structures and cross-functional teams.
    • Property Management experience is preferred but not essential.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY TO DAY

    • Lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organisational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession.
    • Accountable for variance analysis, reviewing and challenging reported actuals and forecasts and first line commentary.
    • Contribute ideas and insight to the business planning process from country, company, department, matrix perspective and use as a basis for the team action plan.
    • Lead and supervise local and/or centralised Accounting & Reporting Operations to ensure relevant, complete, accurate and timely closings of Financial and Management reporting, based on standard global frameworks and local and legal tax requirements.
    • Partner with Business Navigation to provide insight in costs and performance to support business steering based on standard global frameworks (e.g. accounting, reporting, internal control).
    • Manage tax matters, internal controls, audits, and relationships with external advisors and tax authorities.
    • Drive simplification and automation of financial operations and reporting.
    • Support country management with financial planning, liquidity, and investment decisions.
    • Constant cooperation with the Centre Managers, Lease Managers and tenants.


    WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

    • Starting Salary of £80,000 per annum .
    • Full-time: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
    • Location: Hammersmith, Hybrid working, 12 days’ workplace presence, of which 8 must be in Hammersmith, with the remaining 4 in an individual's nearest unit.
