• Bachelor’s degree (preferably supplemented with a Master’s degree) in finance, business, economics, controlling or similar discipline
• 3-5 years of work experience in transaction services, business controlling, financial planning and analysis
• Comprehensive financial modeling skills and knowledge of valuation methodologies
• Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal; comprehensive report writing skills
• Self-starting, with the capacity to work individually and take responsibility, while simultaneously able to perform as a part of a team
• Experience working in an international, cross-cultural and cross-functional environment
• Energized by contributing to the overall growth of the team through collaboration and contribution of knowledge and expertise
• Highly motivated and efficient individual with a sense of simplicity, entrepreneurship, and humbleness
• Intrinsic interest in investing, sustainability and promoting growth within companies
• Fluent in English (additional languages can be an asset)
A day in your life with us
Your responsibilities are as follows:
• Design and implement portfolio controlling and reporting strategies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance portfolio performance
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate the performance of individual investments and the overall portfolio and prepare regular reporting’s to various stakeholders
• Conduct portfolio valuations ensuring individual investments, and the overall portfolio meet return requirements
• Identify, assess, and report on risks within the portfolio and perform periodical impairment analyses to identify potential losses and inform decision-makers
• Stay abreast of industry trends and economic conditions that may impact the portfolio
• Provide transaction (M&A) support for minority investments and business acquisitions
• Provide onboarding and integration support to the finance functions of newly acquired companies
• Build and maintain business relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
• Actively contribute to the development and implementation of digital portfolio finance, reporting and controlling solutions
