    - You have practical hands-on experience with VAT Declaration and Control Statement. If you also performed activities connected to EC Sales List and Intrastat, that would be a great advantage.
    - You are willing to learn and to take over also other Tax areas where we as a company have duties i.e., Pillar 2, Transfer Pricing, Property Tax …
    - You’re detail-oriented, reliable, and analytical, with a natural ability to meet deadlines.
    - You’re comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
    - You enjoy sharing your expertise and contributing to broader financial and compliance goals.
    - If you have experience with SAP ERP ideally with S/4 Hana, it would be a great advantage.
    - You communicate confidently in both Czech and English.

    Your responsibilities

    As Tax Specialist CZ, you’ll make sure IKEA meets all tax obligations in the Czech Republic accurately, on time, and in line with local laws and internal standards.

    Your main focus is connected to VAT:
    - Preparation and submission of VAT Declaration
    - Preparation and submission of Control Statement
    - Preparation and submission of Intrastat
    - Preparation and submission of EC Sales List

    Other responsibilities and activities:
    - Corporate Income Tax– calculation and coordination with external tax consultants if needed
    - Transfer Pricing – support for internal stakeholders if Transfer Pricing rules need to be applied, i.e., in the contracts
    - Pillar 2 & CBCR – speaking partner for our global colleagues for providing data for calculations
    - Treasury tasks – helping with liquidity forecasting and internal loans financing If needed
    - Other taxes – support in Withholding Tax, Property Tax, Road tax …
    - Other areas – point of contact for bank guarantees, point of contact for company credit cards and representative in internal projects if there are tax consequences
