Job description

We are looking for an energetic and curious Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute all digital marketing and content strategies that drive the IKEA brand awareness, customer engagement and sales growth across Thailand. This role is pivotal in integrating digital marketing efforts across the various channels to ensure a cohesive and impactful online presence. By leveraging data-driven insights, the Digital Marketing Manager will optimise campaigns, enhance the customer experience, and support IKEA’s mission of creating a better everyday life for the many people.

  • Develop the IKEA Thailand digital and social media strategy (including search, web, digital ads) and framework with clearly defined objectives.
  • Develop and align the digital channel strategy ensuring a seamless customer journey as per the country marketing strategy.
  • Plan and implement the digital and social content calendar by working closely with the marketing and sales team to achieve business and commercial goals, drive web and store visits, increase home furnishing interest, elevate awareness and strengthen the personality of the IKEA brand.
  • Manage and optimise the performance of all digital marketing campaigns to achieve key business objectives and KPIs.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging and high-quality digital content that aligns with the IKEA’s brand voice and values.
  • Lead and develop a digital team consisting of a Web Merchandiser, Digital Content Editor and Social Media Specialist.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to enhance digital marketing efforts and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical marketing practices in all digital campaigns.

Qualification
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • You have in-depth understanding of digital marketing channels, tools and strategy development.
  • High energy, curious, proactive, highly responsible and have a sense of urgency. Possess a creative mindset.
  • Good knowledge about social media marketing tactics, content marketing principles and digital advertising platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving stressful environment and deliver business goals. Ability to take holistic view of the organisation and identify business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • You are fluent in both the English and Thai language.
