  • Who you are

    • You have 3–5 years of experience in accounting and reporting, preferably in a multinational or large-scale organization.
    • You hold a Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • You have a strong understanding of Ind AS, India GAAP, IFRS, and accounting principles.
    • You are experienced in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audit support, and compliance.
    • You have hands-on experience working with automated accounting systems and are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
    • You are a strong business partner who can translate business needs into financial insights and practical solutions.
    • You build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • You are analytical, detail-oriented, and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
    • You are comfortable working in a multicultural, multinational environment and communicate confidently in English.
    • You embrace change, demonstrate sound business acumen, and are motivated by IKEA's values and purpose.

    Your responsibilities

    • Support the Supply Chain (Home Furnishing Business) accounting process by managing and ensuring accurate general ledger bookings.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to provide accounting guidance and support business decisions.
    • Drive continuous improvements in accounting and reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with local GAAP and Ingka reporting standards.
    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities and provide timely support for accounting and reporting queries.
    • Support the Accounting & Reporting Team Leader in planning objectives and aligning team priorities with business goals.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
    • Contribute to local and global finance projects by providing accounting expertise and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with finance teams, business owners, and process stakeholders across the Ingka Group to support business growth and operational excellence.
    • Monitor financial controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management within the Supply Chain accounting function.
    • Promote a safe, compliant, and value-driven work environment in line with IKEA policies and standards.
