  • IKEA Warrington, WA5 7TY, is looking to welcome a Sales & Sustainability Assistant. In IKEA we call this a Product Quality and Recovery Co-Worker.

    Join IKEA as a Product Quality & Recovery Assistant and help give our products a second life. You'll re-purpose, present and price returned and ex-display stock, support product quality and safety standards, and provide great customer service. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work across store functions, support customers with their purchases, and contribute to a more sustainable IKEA.


    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be: approx 3rd November 2025
    • Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • 24 hours weekly, working 4 days over 7, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.
    • Working hours are between 7am and 10:30pm.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • A positive approach to waste management and sustainability, love multi-tasking, and a passion for giving things a new life.
    • Have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
    • You are motivated to problem solve and use your own initiative daily. You are enthusiastic about being part of the team but also can work without supervision.
    • Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
    • Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Receiving and reviewing uplifted customer returns ensuring they are processed in the most appropriate way and through the correct flows. These flows include repacking, building and recycling through the relevant channels depending on the condition and type of goods.
    • Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery.
    • Support and action the product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex-display stock, to constantly improve customers’ perception of our IKEA products.
    • You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes using safe manual handling practices and appropriate assistive equipment such as pump trucks.
