To succeed as a Leader Trainee, we expect you to:

• Be flexible and able to prioritize the different assignments doing the day/week
• Is ready to adapt to changes and see opportunities rather than limitations
• Naturally take initiative and achieve results beneficial to both the business and people
• Communicate clearly and be able to write and speak professionally in both English and Danish
• Have an interest in interior design and retail - additionally, it's advantageous if you have experience in the retail industry or within a large organization.
A day in your life with us
During your Leader Trainee program, you will be assigned to a specific department. For this position, it is the Customer Relation department. Alongside a competent leader, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and learn to take responsibility. At IKEA, we have a practical approach to learning, so most of your education will take place "on the floor" alongside your employees in operations. Here, you will be involved in your leader's daily work, and in combination with various training modules, you will gain insights and the skills to lead and operate a multimillion-dollar business with between 8-50 employees.
During your education, you will learn about:
• Your leadership style, self-leadership, and IKEA's leadership philosophy
• Coaching, development discussions, and handling difficult conversations
• Theoretical and practical experience in the retail industry and different business approaches
• Recruitment, budgeting, and staffing planning.

Other informations
•The position is an average of 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary
• Salary within IKEA's salary policy
• Working hours are between 08:00-21:00 Monday to Sunday
• Weekend work every 2nd weekend
• You will be part of a shift rotation with both staffing and responsibility hours. Additionally, you will have influence over your own working hours in accordance with the business

• Start date: December 15th or by agreement.
