Job description
  • Contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the local HR action plan.
  • Support the work on local leadership capabilities by counselling on and organizing activities according to agreed development plans.
  • Provide HR support and advice to co-workers and managers that helps building the pipeline of internal talent according to agreed succession plan.

Operational Excellence: 

  • Support and guide in the recruitment and introduction process. Using the framework to be able to attract and retain people.
  • Ensure that we follow national legislation, regulations and valid agreements in the labour market; e.g. employment contracts.
  • Ensure that remuneration practises in the store are competitive related to local market which enable us to attract and retain the right people in our business. Making sure that the salary review process are handled in a structured and professional way.
  • Ensure that the store uses HR data to enable better management of all human resource related processes.
  • Ensure staff costs are in line with set targets as set in the budget.
  • Ensure that payroll, time and attendance, staff planning works in a timely and efficient way.
  • Maintain a trustful relationship with unions.

Building Business Competence: 

  • Contribute actively that the store has a sufficient number of well qualified managers using management and competence review as the main tool and method for success.
  • Create a business and value-driven diversity adapted to the store needs.
  • Ensure that the store has a systematic approach to learning and development following the learning staircase when building business competence.
  • Create an atmosphere where knowledge sharing, internal promotion throughout Retail Asia and high commitment to Ikano results in an organisation that are able to attract, retain and develop talented co-workers. 

Leading for Performance: 

  • Support managers in the development talk/performance appraisals process.
  • Ensure that managers in store regularly strengthen their individual leadership capability to meet both current situation and future business needs.
  • Actively contribute that we build a common leadership language reflecting our leadership capabilities.
  • Coach and support managers based on individual needs. 
  • Support the different store functions in Voice survey, ensure goals and actions are identified, communicated and followed up.
  • Reinforce and strengthen the IKEA culture in the store.
  • Ensure that the store represent an environment with both high job satisfaction and a high job commitment.

Miscellaneous: 

  • Contribute actively in various meeting.
  • Lead the HR team in different assignments, working efficient in a matrix organisation.
