  • Who you are

    The overall purpose of this role is last mile route planning for customers’ services. You will be responsible for maintaining and changing various parameters in our transport management system to efficient routes and securing an excellent service experience for our customers. We expect that you have knowledge and competences within the following areas:

    • You have experience with logistics fulfilment processes - know-how with route planning would be beneficial.
    • Ideally, you have a degree, preferably in the logistics environment.
    • You have an analytical mindset and are able to create predictive analysis to ensure correct planning and optimization.
    • You have experience in data analytics and modelling and bring excellent IT-skills, particularly MS Office (Excel and/or Power BI) with you.
    • You are experienced with complex planning across multiple variables and stakeholders.
    • You are experienced with process development, optimization and change management.
    • You are able to identify, mitigate and manage daily operational risks.
    • You have fluent communication skills in English and know at least one of the main Swiss languages (German, French, Italian). You are also able to connect with people at all levels (both internally and externally).
    • You can adapt easily and are comfortable to lead in the unknown - What you do not know today, you will learn if you have the right approach and can-do attitude.

    Your responsibilities

    • Responsible for route planning - adjusting fleet, approval, communication to Transport Service Providers - you will be an operating part of the team that monitors our route planning 6 days a week.
    • Implementing quality and processes with steakholders (training/follow-up).
    • Responsible for continuously fine-tuning our route planning tool to ensure optimal performance with our various Transport Service Providers.
    • Analyzing data sets, creating reports and bringing insights that support last mile operations and cost development.
    • Administrating and updating fleet data as well as adjusting capacity parameters in our route planning tool.
    • Documenting and optimizing all processes.
    • Ability to stay focused and think clearly when unexpected situations occur and take the needed corrective actions on various types of deviations to safeguard our last mile delivery precision and to meet our customer expectations.
    • It is essential that you have a very close cooperation with both our Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP), our different Transport Service Providers and the Fulfilment Units, as all these stakeholders can have input or changes to specific customer deliveries.


    It is important that you are flexible in terms of working hours. Saturday assignments will be part of your working schedule.
