    • A day in your life with us

    As a Senior Software Engineer, you will continuously improve digital products by creating new interfaces, interactions and experiences, adding new integrations, and measuring the impact for customers and co-workers.

    In an every-day workday you will do this (among other things): 

    o Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure digital solutions in a cloud environment. Tech stack: TypeScript (React, NodeJS). Golang is “good to have”.
    o Setup development practices working in Product teams. Ensure good code quality, test-driven development, build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as a code (Terraform) and ensure the code reviews are done.  
    o Be part of the full DevOps process of our product.
    o Coach less experienced team members.
    o Collaborate and work closely with other teams within our business domain.
    o Help the product manager and specialists on the technical inputs, with respect to the roadmap of the products.  
    o Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders (including suppliers) to improve solution architectures with learnings from best practices within software development and industry. 
    o Helping to identify, measure, automate and use the right data points to improve our overall software engineering process and helping with the business to improve our digital products.

    To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer in this position, you have education in computer science or similar and you have demonstrable experience in working on a senior level for 3+ years, working with:

    Development & API Design

    o Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs.
    o Optimize backend performance through caching, indexing, and query optimization.
    o Hands-on experience building modern, responsive web applications using React, with a focus on performance, accessibility, and reusability.

    Cloud-Native Development

    o Design and develop serverless and containerized applications.
    o Leverage event-driven architectures for real-time data processing.
    o Implement application observability using monitoring and logging tools.

    DevOps & CI/CD

    o Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
    o Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
    o Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
