    Additional information:
    • Permanent and temporary positions available ranging from 30 - 40hours/fortnight across our Sales, Customer Service and Fulfilment functions.
    • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. Additionally, availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
    • We require adequate availability, without holidays booked, during the peak trading period (from mid-October 2026 to January 2027) for these positions, and weekend availability is a must.

    Recruitment process and key dates:
    • If your application is successful, you may be invited to complete a video screening interview as part of the recruitment process.
    • If your application is progressed, you will be invited to a Group Assessment Centre at IKEA Canberra on Friday 9 October.
    • If your application is successful, you will be required to start in your role on Monday 19 October and attend a 2-day Welcome induction.

    We are looking for IKEA co-workers in the following departments:

    Sales
    Our Sales team helps customers bring their home furnishing dreams to life. By understanding customers' needs, providing product knowledge, and sharing home furnishing solutions, Sales Co-workers create inspiring shopping experiences and make it easy for customers to find the products and services that best meet their needs.

    Customer
    Our Customer team is at the heart of delivering a seamless customer experience. Whether welcoming customers, supporting self-service areas, assisting at check-outs, processing returns, handling cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently, or helping with customer enquiries, this team ensures every interaction is positive, efficient and memorable.

    Fulfilment
    Our Fulfilment team creates a seamless customer experience by accurately picking, packing and checking orders, supporting Click & Collect handouts, coordinating deliveries and resolving order issues. Working safely and efficiently, you'll follow IKEA procedures, operate forklifts and fulfilment equipment, and collaborate with the wider team to ensure every customer receives their order on time and with care.
