    You bring:
    • Minimum 7 years of related experience in facilities management, property management, real estate operations, technical operations or a similar area
    • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience, with the ability to lead, develop and support a team
    • Good understanding of facilities management operations, including maintenance, building services, equipment, safety, compliance and sustainability
    • Experience in working with external service providers, supplier coordination, contract follow-up and cost efficiency
    • Ability to work with budgets, forecasts, follow-up and input to investment planning
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to improve property value, efficiency, quality and sustainability

    What you'll be doing day to day

    As Unit Facility Manager, you will lead the Facilities Management scope for IKEA Timisoara. You will make sure assigned properties are safe, compliant, operational and managed in an efficient and sustainable way, supporting the business, co-workers, customers and external partners.

    In this role, you will:
    • Develop an efficient Facilities Management team, ensuring co-workers understand the overall vision, direction, delivery process and responsibilities for assigned initiatives. You will also identify team and individual goals based on the Real Estate business plan and actively support succession planning.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise the value and efficiency of each property in a sustainable way. You will also ensure that co-workers and external partners have up-to-date awareness and understanding of relevant frameworks, guidelines and initiatives issued by Group Real Estate.
    • Deliver forecasts, follow-ups and input to investment and SISAN budgets - Store in Shape as New -supporting long-term planning and responsible property management.
    • Execute activities related to contract and supplier management to improve efficiency, costs, equipment and quality, while securing the right resources to manage the Real Estate business in the unit and support projects from start to finish.
    • Execute operational requirements and ensure that all relevant facilities management documentation is consistent with Ingka standards and complies with relevant legislation, regulations and agreements, securing a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders.
