    【Required Qualifications】
    • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams.
    • Experience in setting and executing commercial plans, budgets and KPIs.
    • Strong understanding of profit and loss management and business performance.
    • Experience making commercial decisions based on market and customer insights.
    • Business-level English communication skills.

    The expected start date of this position is 2026 11/1 or 12/1.

    Your responsibilities

    1, Ensure a broad Kansai market perspective is applied to drive sustainable growth in both business performance and people development.
    2, Ensure strong leadership and collaboration across the Store commercial team and Sales team through excellent communication skills.
    3, Ensure an optimal shopping experience for customers by understanding IKEA’s omnichannel transformation and creating a shop floor that meets customer needs.

    About this work area

    You lead and inspire your team to optimise the shopping experience to secure satisfied customers and increased sales and profitability in your store.
    You achieve this using your knowledge of the IKEA product range, the local market, competition and customers.
    Your leadership is based on performing and delivering while learning and developing in the business.
    You use the IKEA tools and expertise of your team and your colleagues to support you. In your strategies and actions, you always consider and steer the business in a multichannel retail environment, particularly the IKEA store and IKEA website. You actively work towards fulfilling the four tasks of the IKEA store:
    • to act as a highly efficient, and staffed, sales mechanism
    • to show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas
    • to serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist
    • to provide a day out for the whole family.

    【Employment Type】
    • Full-time regular employee, 40 hours/week
    • Probationary period: 6 months
    • Start date: the first day of each month
    • Retirement system in place up to age 65

    【Working Hours】
    8:00-22:00 (Shift Work)

    Annual holidays: 127 days or more
