    We are excited to announce the launch of our new store in Chandigarh, an important step in our journey to create a better everyday life for the many people.
    Following the successful openings of our two stores in Delhi, this new location strengthens our presence in Northern India and brings IKEA closer to customers in one of the country's most dynamic and culturally rich cities.

    As we prepare to open our doors in Chandigarh, we are looking for passionate co-workers who share our values, are inspired by home furnishing, and are committed to creating meaningful experiences for our customers. Together, we will make IKEA more accessible, deliver a seamless omnichannel experience, and continue building long-term relationships with the many people in and around Chandigarh.

    You are a customer-focused leader who is passionate about creating positive shopping experiences and building long-term customer relationships. You lead by example, live the IKEA values, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment. You are confident in supporting and coaching co-workers, handling customer situations calmly, and making sound decisions that balance customer needs with business priorities.

    You are motivated by developing people, improving ways of working, and contributing to sales growth and profitability. You value teamwork, simplicity, and responsibility, and you are driven to continuously learn and grow—both personally and professionally.

    Your responsibilities

    Ensure a fast, efficient, and friendly customer experience across all Customer Relations areas.

    Handle customer issues accurately, positively, and efficiently, stepping in when escalations are required.

    Support, coach, and empower co-workers so they are confident and ready to help customers at all times.

    Lead by example on the shop floor, spending time with your team to guide, support, and develop them.

    Ensure the department is well-equipped, organised, and staffed according to customer flow.

    Work closely with other store functions to improve the overall shopping experience.

    Actively seek and act on customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

    Contribute to department and store action plans and take ownership of agreed goals.

    Monitor service performance, productivity, and costs, taking action where needed.

    Ensure safety, security, and compliance with cash handling and store procedures.
