    You are a creative and passionate individual with a strong eye for visual communication. You have a background in graphic communication, media, or typography and a keen sense of aesthetics. Your ability to combine commercial, aesthetic, and practical skills helps you create engaging visual messages that inspire and surprise customers. You are detail-oriented, organized, and can work in a fast-paced retail environment.
    Additionally, you:
    • Have experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Understand retail and home furnishing trends.
    • Are confident in communicating ideas clearly.
    • Work well both independently and collaboratively in a team.
    • Have a customer-focused mindset and enjoy creating inspiring shopping experiences.

    Your responsibilities

    As a Graphic Communication Co-worker, you will:
    • Use graphic communication to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of IKEA’s identity in-store communication.
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate store communication strategies that enhance the customer shopping experience.
    • Ensure that communication aligns with IKEA’s visual and verbal identity while maintaining cost-efficiency and sustainability.
    • Work closely with the Com&In team and other store functions to execute commercial opportunities.
    • Stay up to date with home furnishing trends, retail communication, and customer behavior.
    • Ensure that store communication effectively conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept.
    • Maintain a balance between creativity and practical execution while respecting store routines and responsibilities.
    What You Need
    • Education in graphic communication design, media, or typography.
    • Experience in retail, home furnishing, or advertising agencies (preferred).
    • Knowledge of IKEA’s brand, mechanical sales system, and store communication approach (preferred for internal candidates).
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s).
