    With the customer at the heart of everything we do, Expansion takes responsibility for developing and implementing the strategic expansion plan in the country. Expansion acts upon business needs based on insights and optimize accessibility to enable maximum penetration of the country. Expansion is responsible for implementing our retailing concepts and securing that we fully utilise our assets in the new world of IKEA – all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained profitability.

    Your responsibilities

    Lead and coordinate the commercial build-up process from planning and over and during the build up period. Support Project Leader with tendering process. Ensure that the right people and processes are in place to deliver the Customer Meeting Point in accordance with the plans

    ASSIGNMENT
    • Lead and contribute to the local tendering and procurement process
    • Lead the commercial build-up process across all areas of the Customer Meeting Point (CMP)
    • Support the Project leader and Construction Project Manager in the management
    of external
    • contractors during the retail fit out
    • Provide a detailed time plan and forecast of the total cost of the retail build-up
    • Provide a detailed plan of number of resources required and where they should support during a buildup
    • Obtain sign off from the relevant stakeholders of the implementation result
    • Ensure a safe working environment for co-workers, contractors and visitors alike
    • Ensure the Commercial Build-up is delivered on time, to the right cost and with the right level of quality
    • Take lead in working across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
    • Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
    • Lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA - guided by the People and Planet Positive commitments.
    Job-specific capabilities
    • Proven advanced training in Project Management or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and influencing teams
    • Strong project management skills
    • Experience from managing change in a complex business environment
    • Multicultural experience
