Who you areWe are looking for an Omnichannel Ecosystem Designer who demonstrates strong leadership skills with IKEA's culture and values close at heart! You are used to working cross-functionally and cross organizations to develop and drive topics forward! You can understand the complexity of IKEA business whilst being able to provide clear directions and plans.
You have strong experience in strategy development and stay abreast of the industry trends within Omnichannel retailing. You bring a good understanding of how to be an ambassador for omnichannel retailing while leading in this field. You also can effectively champion omnichannel retailing, even while navigating the unknown. Finally, you understand Experience Design as an integrated part of the business.
We see that you bring experience in:
• At least 6 years experience in senior consumer-facing business roles.
• Very strong analytical skills and business development background.
• Experience in working with how different customer meeting points interplay with one another to meet customers in seamless omnichannel experiences
• Proven experience in applying design-thinking to complex problems and business environments.
• Experience in applying system thinking to complex problems and ideally omnichannel experiences or retailing.
• Experience in a global organization, leading in a complex business environment with physical and digital operations and development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A day in your life with us
As Omni Ecosystem Designer, you will lead, design and drive ecosystem development and frameworks with a strong foundation in design and system thinking to evolve the role of and relationship between meeting points and touch points in IKEA’s omnichannel environment.
More in detail you will:
• Accountable for contributing to the definition and application of Omnichannel ecosystems across all Customer Meeting Points and customer touch points.
• Define and drive ecosystem projects with stakeholders across IKEA and in collaboration with Markets.
• Drive and execute systematic approaches to identifying market-relevant ecosystems that are based on customer relevancy, low-cost expansion and optimised use of IKEA meeting points and customer touch points.
• Drive the conceptualisation of ecosystems, securing anchoring in connection with consumer behaviour and expectations, with business viability or customers and co-workers.
• Plan E2E design projects, and lead and develop a variety of ecosystem design deliverables.
• Apply both design thinking and system thinking to evolve ecosystem approaches for IKEA to be scalable to the many markets yet actionable on a local level.
This is a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to the Omni Strategy Manager.
About this work area
Develop and evolve the IKEA Omni Ecosystem framework, defining the role of meeting points through an end-to-end customer experience approach.
Drive omnichannel development across Omni Meeting Points across the IKEA strategic landscape, ensuring global scale and regional relevancy.
Lead end-to-end customer experience strategies across and within IKEA customer meeting points and touch points.
Bringing omnichannel experience as part of the Growth plan to life across all channels.
