This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. Another part of our business is retail equipment range, which is an important part of IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience. Job description

•work with ensuring compliance across, improving our operational efficiency and performance on operational level in connection to our development needs

•contribute to availability at lower total costs through always ensuring correctness in import and export, compliance in trade, with applicable customs related legislations & standards efficiently, while constantly support to develop our ways of working and solutions

•participate in securing customs department performance from business, KPIS, process & compliance aspects towards our wished position in close collaboration with other customs departments across IKEA

•secure both internal and external education and trainings to maintain compliance and a correct competence level for the customs team in totality

•collaborate with your team members in IKEA Components customs organization, located in Sweden, Slovakia and China to ensure common direction and development and deliver agreed goals to secure a high performing organization


Qualification

•several years of experience in customs related roles in an international environment

•good understanding of customs requirements and connected legislations on strategical and operational level

•strong drive and willingness to share knowledge, problem solving approach, ability to handle both small and big issues

•previous experience dealing with external authorities

•experience working in a process-oriented organization

•fluency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills

•high level of analytical, investigative, and interpersonal skills

•change management experience
