Who you areWe are looking for a co-worker who would like to shape and develop our Retail Warehouse and who always has the customer in focus. You do not necessarily need to have a forklift license or have extensive experience using reach- and counter balance forklifts, but we will prefer candidates who does. Please be aware that we primarily speak English.
We have many different departments in the Warehouse, so it is important that you like working cross-functional and love collaborating with many different people. We are looking for someone who takes initiative and responsibility for their work. It is also important that you contribute to the positive work environment and come with your inputs and ideas, so we can renew and improve our processes, so we can make sure we have happy customers. When orders are being expedited online or in the stores, your job is to find and pack the goods for the customers, and secure that the right goods are packed as fast as possible and without any damages and flaws. You primarily work independently, but with colleagues close by.
Your tasks will be primarily:
• Picking and packing orders for customer both from the stores and online, which also includes click & collect orders
• Cleaning and maintenance of the department and equipment
• Proactively securing the safety of our warehouse
• Working together with colleagues from different backgrounds.
Together as a team
You'll be a part of an international organization, with many different development opportunities, both short- and longterm. We will make sure you receive the proper training so you feel safe and competent to do the job. With us, you will be part of an international team with both part time co-workers and full time co-workers, who all work towards the same goals.
We know that our co-workers are our most important resource and we are therefore looking for people who share our values, so we can give our customers the best service possible. At IKEA, diversity is a part of the daily working life and we believe that new ideas and competence contributes to developing as an organization. Regardless of which ethnicity, nationality or cultural background you have, we all share the IKEA values. We work in a fast paced environment, but we have a close collaboration and always support each other.
