What you'll be doing day to day
As an IKEA FOOD co-worker, you will experience a developing work environment in our restaurant areas divided into kitchen, dishwashing, serving and cashline. We also have an IKEA Bistro, a Swedish Food Market, a Swedish café and of course our staff canteen. In all areas, we work as a team to obtain a great experience for our customers and colleagues.
Among other things you will:
• Serve customers in both the cashier area and the restaurant
• Serve customers in our Bistro, Swedish Food Market, and Swedish café
• Prepare both cold and hot dishes, along with other tasks
• Do dishwashing from all dining areas
• Maintain high hygiene standard to always meet applicable rules
• Always make sure that the kitchen and restaurant area is tidy, clean and welcoming.
Together as a Team
You will be part of a team of both full-time and part-time employees in a large department store. We work closely with other departments, and you will therefore gain experience of collaborating with many different people. We have a really good team, where we support each other and work as a group. There is room to be exactly who you are, and you have the opportunity to create a strong social network.

Further information
• This position is for an average of 10 hours per week within the time frame 07:00AM-20:30PM
• Your working time will vary based on the business need, with shifts both in the morning and evening. You should also expect to work every second weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. It is possible to give your input to the work schedule
• Salary and terms of employment follow 3F's Cafeteria union agreement and include pension- and free choice allowance as well as odd-hour payment
• We have various staff benefits including private health insurance, massage, canteen, staff discount, discount club with external partners, yearly gift, bonus, etc
• Start date is December 1 2024 or after agreement
