    We are pleased to announce the launch of our third physical Customer Meeting Point (CMP) in Bangalore — a Small Store L located in South Bangalore, one of the high-potential clusters of the city.

    Following the delivery of our Standard Store in 2022 and Planning and Order Point (PaOP) in 2025, this new store marks an important milestone in our journey to strengthen market presence, while continuing to provide an omnichannel, customer-centric experience aligned with our long-term vision for the region.

    Small stores are designed to offer a complete IKEA experience in a more compact format to make us even more accessible to our customers in our markets.
    Purpose of the role:
    As a person you are passionate about people, business, IKEA’s purpose and continuously driving better performance.
    You are energized by increasing customer value, driving business growth and contributing to overall success and results through people as well as motivated by leading and developing people.
    You should have an education in graphic communication design, media and typography, a visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics along with a customer-focused mindset. You should be able to explain concepts verbally and visual interpretation. You should possess the ability to prioritise and organise own work to make the most efficient use of available time and meet agreed deadlines. You should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be enthusiastic about assignments and working with others in a team. You should have good attention to details with a practical hands-on approach to work. Computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and production tools, e.g. printers, pre-press production and print techniques.
    You should have knowledge of the below:
    • Range presentation the IKEA way (store media, display techniques, store layout).
    • Home furnishing the IKEA way.
    • Store communication the IKEA way.
    • Understand life at home in the local market and the outcome of market research, e.g. IKEA Customer Satisfaction Survey, IKEA Brand Capital. Good knowledge of trends that influence home furnishing and communication.
    • Commercial calendar and store activities.
    • The work method for presenting the IKEA range. IKEA mechanical sales system.
    • The IKEA Concept and IKEA Brand objectives. IKEA visual and verbal identity

    You should be capable of combining commercial, aesthetic and practical skills. Ability to be confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations and have a flexible hands-on approach to responsibilities and an ability to meet set deadlines.
    You should have a passion for fast-paced, future-oriented retailing and the IKEA product range, about home furnishing solutions that improve people’s life at home. You should be constantly growing knowledge, capabilities and motivation and driven to exceed goals and a desire to improve ways of working.

    Your responsibilities

    Job description
    As a Graphic Communication Coworker, you will:
    o Develop and maintain graphic communication solutions that support IKEA's brand and business goals.
    o Translate IKEA's concept and tone of voice into clear, engaging designs for all store communications.
    o Collaborate with interior designers and visual merchandisers to create effective store communication materials.
    o Oversee print communication, ensuring visual balance, quality, and cost-efficiency.
    o Ensure all communications are customer-friendly, functional, and consistent with IKEA guidelines.
    o Work closely with the Com&In team and other store functions to maximize commercial opportunities.
    o Stay up to date with knowledge about home furnishing, communication and retail design trends to follow creative directions that inspire and surprise store visitors through the IKEA visual and verbal identity.

    Qualification

    o Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
    o Experience of working with graphic design in an advertising agency or a printing company for minimum of 3 years.
    o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects is a plus).
    o Knowledge of print and digital design standards.
    o Strong collaboration skills with marketing, communication, and commercial teams.
    o Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
    o Passion for home furnishing, design, and IKEA's values.
