  • IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome a Stock Inventory Assistant to join our passionate team. At IKEA, we call this a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker.

    You’ll be the go-to for tracking products, solving stock puzzles, and making sure everything’s in the right place at the right time. If you love staying organised, working with a supportive team, and keeping things moving behind the scenes, this role is packed with purpose and could be for you.

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be 26 July 2026.
    • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • Additional £2.25 per hour when working nightshift hours between 22:00pm and 06:00am.
    • 20 hours a week, including 3 out of 4 weekends. Shifts will be between the hours of 04:00am and 08:00am.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Previous logistics or stock inventory experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to work diligently in a focused and goal-oriented environment.
    • Experience in utilising computers and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency, with literacy and numeracy skills.
    • Illustrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and display enthusiasm, while also being equipped to work alongside our diverse team members.
    • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
    • Health and safety regulations require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Perform accurate counting and inventory procedures to ensure stock available for our customers.
    • Contribute to the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time replenishment, using systems provided.
    • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
    • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
