    • IKEA Gateshead are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.

    Are you ready to bring energy and enthusiasm to a fast-paced food service environment? We’re looking for team players who are motivated, organised, and customer-focused to help create a welcoming experience for everyone who visits our restaurant. Whether you're serving food, handling payments, or keeping things clean and safe behind the scenes, your contribution will make a real difference.     WHAT WE OFFER

    • Start date of employment will be 4th of January 2026.
    • Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • 16 and 24 Hours working between the hours of 06:00am - 21:30pm. 4 days per week including 3 out of 4 weekends.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
    • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
    • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
    • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes to prepare food.
    • Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day.
    • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
    • Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team.
