• Broad knowledge of how to create business in the IKEA multichannel retail environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the right number of competent co-workers in the right place at the right time and securing that they are fully able and available to serve customers.
• Together with preparation team, ensure the shop is in excellent shape as new and that the IKEA product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers.
• Ensure the team has the knowledge about the product range and the competence to promote complete home furnishing solutions in department and the IKEA services.
• Understand the different IKEA sales and communication channels and IKEA know-how in order to make the best commercial use of this information for different customers.
• Take responsibility for department goals and secure that the action plan delivers the country priorities for all Home Furnishing Business (HFBs) in store.
• Provide the documentation and follow up to be able to share the learning of the new solutions.
• Actively sales steer to department’s top-selling products, prioritised products and also use IKEA service products in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
• Maximise sales by acting quickly on commercial opportunities.
• Keep an active eye on the competition reacting appropriately, including communicating to matrix partner in the Service Office.
• Lead, coach and develop the team and its individual members to secure a high performing team and to have succession planning in place.
• Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with your team to understand how, together, to contribute to sustainability.
• Contribute fulfilment set up when it comes to range principles in Store of Tomorrow.
