    • IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. These are 16 and 12 hour a week contracts.

    WHAT WE OFFER
    • Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
    • Planned induction dates are 08 and 15 February 2026.
    • Availability to work at least two days between Monday to Friday (up until 21:00pm), as well as 3 in 4 weekends, is essential.
    • These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
    • Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
    • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
    • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
    • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.

    Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
    In both roles, you will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.

    • You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers.
    • You will follow a cleaning schedule and make sure the cleanliness of the kitchen is to a high standard.
    • You will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant area, and work in our busy dish-room.
    • You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
    • You will be communicating directly with customers, ensuring they receive an efficient, friendly and warm dining experience.
