  • Are you 16 years or older and looking for a new job, and do you want to know what it is like to work at IKEA Duiven? Then come on Thursday afternoon, 19 February 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM to IKEA Duiven at the Dining Rooms department!
    At the moment, we have many different vacancies open (for all departments) and we are looking for enthusiastic people who want to strengthen the IKEA Duiven team. For this event you do not need to register, and you can drop by to immediately speak with one of our team managers. When your profile matches one of our open vacancies, we will invite you right away for an interview.

    As an IKEA employee, you are responsible for providing the best possible customer experience. Each department has its own tasks for this. For example, Logistics handles refilling the shelves, Sales actively approaches customers, and Customer Relations is the last point of contact for the customer at the checkout or outdoor area.


    Sales: You help customers make their purchasing decisions as well as possible. You ensure correct pricing so customers can find the necessary product information themselves. You actively approach customers and, between customer questions, you keep the department tidy by showing the products in a representative way.


    IKEA FOOD: By helping our customers in a friendly and quick way in our Restaurant, Bistro, or Swedish Food Market, you ensure a great guest experience. For example, you sell hot dogs and ice creams at the Bistro, handle checkout, and replenish stock in the Swedish Food Market.


    Customer Relations: You work on optimal service for the customer. You do this in various areas of the store; for example, you can work at the checkout or at the customer service desk. A satisfied customer? That’s what you take care of!


    Logistics: You ensure that our products are in the right place at the right time. From refilling the store to picking orders in the warehouse: thanks to you, everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and on the shop floor. You work in a structured way, keep an overview, and together with your team you ensure a well-stocked and organized store.

    Upon entering, take the escalator up to the showroom, then turn right and follow the blue Dining Rooms signs. After the Kitchen department you will arrive at the Dining Rooms department, where the event takes place.
