    Are you a finance professional with a passion for accuracy, structure, and continuous improvement?     - You have experience in financial controlling, accounting, or reporting, ideally in a corporate environment.
    - You’re confident working with SAP (S/4 Hana preferably), Excel, and PowerBI (only as a user)
    - You’re organized, precise, and comfortable managing multiple tasks, reconciliations, and deadlines.
    - You enjoy collaborating across teams, providing financial insight, and supporting process improvements.
    - You communicate clearly in both Slovak and English.
    - If you have experience with cooperation with shared service center it is an advantage

    Your responsibilities

    As a Financial Controller, you’ll support key Record-to-Report and Source-to-Pay processes for IKEA Slovakia ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong financial governance.
    Your main focus areas will include:
    - Main support to Accounting and Reporting Manager for the month-end-closing process
    - Focusing on intercompany invoices, allocations, rebookings
    - Creating accruals, calculating provisions and working with standard journals
    - Posting journal entries and performing ex-post controls
    - Main speaking partner for setting up the approval flow for the invoices or purchase orders
    - Participating in projects, global reporting meetings, and bridging insights to local teams.
    You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to smarter ways of working.

    Salary: starting at €2,400 per month
