    • IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome a sales team leader.

    Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving sales and mentoring teams? We are seeking a Sales Team Leader to join our vibrant team, where you'll oversee daily operations, set sales targets, and inspire our sales force to achieve excellence. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record in sales management, we want to hear from you!

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be: March 2025
    • The starting salary for this role is £26,400 per annum, based on competence and experience.
    • 39 Hours working 5 days per week including late evenings and alternate weekends.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • An enthusiasm for home furnishings and experience in effective selling, understanding customers and their needs.
    • Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others workload.
    • Business-minded with customer in focus to deliver results, ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change.
    • Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can enable building relationships with co-workers and customers.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Together with your team, you focus on putting the customer first in everything you do, every customer must have a shopping experience that exceeds their expectations.
    • You act quickly on commercial opportunities and take full responsibility for ensuring your shop is in excellent shape, clean, tidy, priced and full.
    • You and your team actively sales steer to your department’s top-selling products, prioritised products and IKEA service products in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
    • Your working base is the shop floor where you set a good example every day, supporting, training and coaching co-workers.
