  • IKEA Finland has opened an IKEA Distribution Center in Lommila, Espoo (MCDC). The distribution center serves as a centralized warehouse for all customer deliveries in Finland.

    In addition, the distribution center's pick-up point and Finland's largest pick-up lockers serve our customers, especially in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
    Finland is the first IKEA country to combine traditional distribution center operations and a customer order pick-up point under one roof.

    At MCDC, you play an important role in creating an excellent customer experience by ensuring that we have products in stock and thus contribute to our overall sales.

    You handle products (unloading, replenishment, picking) always ensuring safe and correct working methods – the safety of our co-workers and customers is always a top priority.

    Together as a team

    Our efficient team working behind the scenes is responsible for ensuring that IKEA products are available as widely as possible. We manage orders and coordinate them according to available space and sales forecasts, striving to maximize product availability and minimize costs. We also develop efficient solutions for picking products for customers. Together, we aim to improve the customer experience at IKEA.

    We offer fixed-term contracts with varying weekly hours (15-30h/week) starting in May/June and ending at the end of July or August. We hope you would enjoy working with us all summer long and perhaps even longer!
    You can indicate in the application form what kind of hour contract you are interested in.

    The basic salary for the position is in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the Commercial Sector (salary group B), which, depending on years of experience, is €11.33-15.26/hour.
    In addition, we pay supplements according to the collective agreement based on actual working hours. The salary is affected by previous experience in similar tasks and education related to the field.
