    As the Country Insights & Analytics Manager for IKEA Australia & New Zealand, you'll be responsible for leading the Country Insights & Analytics (I&A) team to enable and embed end-to-end data-driven decision-making into the retail organisation. You will act as a strategic partner for Country Management, bringing a holistic understanding of commercial issues, the world around us, while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to increase the end-to-end understanding of the business, generating insights that lead strategic business decisions. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    • Driving the I&A matrix from a country perspective, ensuring adherence to the overall I&A and Data Analytics agenda, and actively bringing and taking synergies across the matrix and retail areas.
    • Is accountable for the delivery of tactical and strategic day-to-day insights and omnichannel business steering solutions, while leading the adoption of ways of working and retail operations-related Analytics & Insights products within the country organisation.
    • Co-develops relevant up-/re-skilling programs and establishes processes and best practices, driving consistency of ways of working and promoting effectiveness in the delivery of I&A and Data Management.
    • Leads, coaches, and develops co-workers, securing that teams understand the direction, delivery process, and responsibilities for assigned initiatives. Identifies team and individual goals and objectives, monitoring progress and implementing solutions for improvements.



    As a person we see that you are passionate about the possibilities of qualitative and quantitative research but also data & analytics, combining the outside-in view with the inside-out view and its value for the business. You possess a strong understanding of modern data and analytics methods and technologies, along with how to execute roadmaps to meet business requirements. Your expertise extends to retail and eCommerce business, change management, and high-level stakeholder management. Motivated by the IKEA vision, to make IKEA more affordable, accessible, and sustainable, you also thrive growing the business and people together. You have excellent interpersonal skills, you can effectively scope and execute complex projects, frame ambiguous business issues, and communicate inspirationally across all levels. You are curious, continuously acquiring new knowledge and championing innovative concepts to improve performance, all while understanding the complexity of IKEA's business and the integral role of I&A and Data Management.

    To be considered for this role you will have:
    • Master’s degree qualifications in business, computer science, econometrics, mathematics, or equivalent.
    • Minimum 8 years of progressive and diverse experience in Insights & Analytics and Data Management.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading company transformation and change management.
    • Preferred experience in retail and/or eCommerce and/or digital product development teams.

    Additional information:
    • Permanent, full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
    • Location for the role is IKEA Service Office, Tempe, NSW.
    • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates. If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain a national police check.
