Join Our Team as a Planning Studio Manager at IKEA Jyväskylä!

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Unit Manager to lead our IKEA Jyväskylä Planning Studio! As the Planning Studio Manager, you will guide a team of 8 co-workers in helping customers plan and order the home furnishing solutions of their dreams.

AS THE PLANNING STUDIO MANAGER YOU ARE OR HAVE:
• You love Home Furnishing and are passionate about selling and exceeding the customer expectations.
• You have a passion for developing your team and spotting talent. You get as much out of helping your team achieve and develop as you do your own achievements.
• You have genuine interest in people’s everyday life at home and you enjoy working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment.
• You have proven record of strong and successful leadership (3 years minimum).
• You’re skilled in creating high commercial performance and have analytical skills to follow up results and quickly react on deviations.
• You are adaptable and energetic, with strong verbal and written communication skills for successful stakeholder management.
• You have experience in retail and have held financial responsibility (profit and loss).

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH AS THE PLANNING STUDIO MANAGER: 
• You lead and inspire your team to create outstanding experiences to our customers and to increase sales and profitability in your unit.
• You achieve this by using your knowledge of the IKEA product range, the local market, competition and customers.
• You deliver and lead the commercial action plan for your unit; taking input from the team and the matrix leaders to ensure the unit supports the achievement of the agreed goals, maximizes sales and generates sustained long-term profitability.
• Actively promote IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with team to understand how, together, contribute to sustainability.
• You act quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback. You keep an active eye on the competition and take appropriate action when necessary.
• You know your local market potential and work with your team and other stakeholders to ensure your unit is locally relevant.
• You follow up your financial goals, KPIs and costs, and react on deviations.
• You motivate and develop your team members by setting clear goals, expectations and conducting follow-ups and development talks.
• You secure a competent and high-performing team who will inspire and empower every customer.
