IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a Customer Order Picker to join our hard-working Fulfilment Operations team.
In this role, you’ll be essential in picking and preparing orders and ensuring our fulfilment unit runs smoothly. This role is perfect if you enjoy a hands-on role.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
• This role is 30 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7, including 3 in 4 weekends.
• The hours of operation are between 06:30am and 20:30pm Monday to Sunday.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
• You will enjoy a hands-on role that involves a lot of manual handling, as you will be collecting our products and flat-pack furniture ready for delivery.
• While previous warehouse experience is preferred, it is not essential. The key requirement is a strong motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workload efficiently, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Picking and collecting products for customer orders throughout the store, ready to then be delivered.
• Working in a customer-facing environment, which means you will be happy to deliver great customer service when approached by customers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for both customers and co-workers.
• Diligently checking orders to ensure accuracy - the right products are collected for each order.
