We are looking to welcome a value driven, customer focused Team Leader to join our spirited Customer Relations team.

Expected Starting Date: September 2024


WHAT WE OFFER

• Living Wage Foundation Employer

39 hours working 5 days out of 7 including 2 out of 4 weekends and late evenings.

This role offers a salary starting from £25,753 per annum, final salary offer will be made based on skills and experience.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends.

• Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews
• We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling & regular weekend off

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

We are looking for co-workers who can create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team.
• Has the ability to prioritize and organize work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of the time available.
• Has the ability to plan staffing needs according to the customer flow.
• Has strong communication skills with the ability to adjust the style of communication to get the message across to the receiver.
• Is a confident decision-maker with common sense and attention to detail
• Has experience of actively meeting customer needs through understanding customers in a service industry.
• Good at solving problems and working under pressure
• Leadership experience is beneficial.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Empowering co-workers through knowledge, confidence, trust, authority and motivation so they are always ready to support customers in the best way possible.
• Leading by example in terms of customer focus, co-operation with other departments, simplicity and giving and taking responsibility to optimize our customers' experience.
• Optimize the relationship with our customers in order to increase customer satisfaction thereby driving sales growth and sustained long-term profitability.
• Work to actively secure the IKEA culture by maintaining specific focus on togetherness and accepting and delegating responsibility.
• Understand the impact of my actions on the financial results of my area and know which results I have influence over and how to balance this with the needs of the customer.
