    We are pleased to announce the launch of our third physical Customer Meeting Point (CMP) in Bangalore — a Small Store L located in South Bangalore, one of the high-potential clusters of the city.
    Following the delivery of our Standard Store in 2022 and Planning and Order Point (PaOP) in 2025, this new store marks an important milestone in our journey to strengthen market presence, while continuing to provide an omnichannel, customer-centric experience aligned with our long-term vision for the region. Small stores are designed to offer a complete IKEA experience in a more compact format to make us even more accessible to our customers in our markets.

    You are passionate about retail, home furnishing and creating exceptional customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced, multichannel environment and enjoy leading people to achieve strong commercial results. You are business-minded, customer-focused and motivated by turning opportunities into measurable outcomes.
    You bring a strong sales mindset combined with leadership capability. You enjoy coaching others, building trust and inspiring teams to perform at their best. You understand customer behaviour, merchandising principles and how to drive sales through smart planning and execution.
    You likely have:

    Lead a team of home furnishing consultants, implement the home furnishing consulting action plan by working in collaboration with the commercial team, and take responsibility for home furnishing goals, secure an action plan that in line with country priorities.

    Your responsibilities

    As a Commercial Team Leader, you optimise the shopping experience to drive sales and customer satisfaction while ensuring operational excellence. You lead from the shop floor, inspiring your team and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our standards.
    You will:
    •Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver strong commercial performance
    •Ensure your department is always fully stocked, priced, clean and inspiring
    •Drive sales steering based on priorities, customer insights and local market trends
    •Act quickly on commercial opportunities, stock situations and customer feedback
    •Execute department action plans aligned with store and country priorities
    •Deliver excellent customer experiences across all sales channels
    •Promote and implement sustainability initiatives within your team
    •Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective actions
    •Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen commercial outcomes
    •Support fulfilment operations to ensure product availability and efficiency
    •Recruit, onboard and develop talent while planning for succession
